Blake Oliver, CPA
Blake Oliver, CPA, is the founder and CEO of Earmark, an app that offers NASBA-approved CPE for listening to your favorite accounting and tax podcasts. He co-hosts The Accounting Podcast, a Top 25 Business News show on the Apple charts and the most popular podcast for accountants and bookkeepers worldwide. He has been named one of Accounting Today’s top 100 most influential people and recognized as one of CPA Practice Advisor’s “40 Under 40” in the accounting profession. Blake lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he enjoys hiking, swimming, and cycling.
Derek Weaver
Derek Weaver is a Principal in CohnReznick’s Bethesda office and a member of the firm’s National Tax Practice. With 20 years of tax experience, he specializes in fixed asset consulting including cost segregation studies, repair and maintenance expense analyses, and other tax advisory services specific to cost recovery and tax depreciation in the real estate industry.
Derek has managed and performed thousands of cost segregation studies, including large-scale commercial office complexes, residential rental property, retail/restaurants, golf courses, hotels, airports, and manufacturing facilities.

Kira Copperman
Kira Copperman, LMSW, is the author of Gen-Speak: Communication Strategies for the New Generational Mix at Work and Send/Receive/Confirm. She is a subject matter expert on generational differences at work and has been a generational consultant for The New York Times, ASPCA, EisnerAmper, Paramount and many others. She was recently the featured presenter on generational differences at the PKF O’Connor Davies Leadership Conference.
Kira is also a board-certified executive coach, facilitator and workplace communication consultant. Her other clients include corporations such as Bloomberg, IPG, Amazon and Chiat Day. Kira's research has been featured in national and specialty publications, and a recent study on workplace communication won an award of distinction.
Cameron Belt
Cameron Belt serves as a Senior Economist and Research Director at RCG Economics, where he focuses on delivering objective, independent data, research, and strategic advice. Before joining RCG, Cameron played a pivotal role as a senior executive at Lyft and at Uber, focused on strategy, operations, and analytics for over six years.
Cameron has expertise in
research, applied economics, operations, strategic finance, transportation, and business analytics. For over a decade, he has offered expert economic insights via presentations and speaking engagements on the
local, state, regional, and national economies to numerous
public and non-profit entities and organizations in Nevada. His contributions have influenced
Nevada's policies on various economic topics.

Christian Wood
Christian Wood leads RSM’s Washington National Tax (WNT) practice for Credits, Incentives, and Methods. He specializes in helping clients navigate complex tax environments to execute informed business decisions while championing cross-communication and collaboration to achieve the best possible outcomes.
With more than 20 years of experience and an extensive background in law and economics, Christian provides clients with the technical resources, thought leadership, and risk assessment tools they need to deal with complex tax situations. His areas of expertise include fixed assets, the timing of income and expenses, capitalization, accounting methods, research and development, Inflation Reduction Act credits, as well as the CHIP’s Act credits. He is an active leader on the WNT team and serves as a liaison for the consumer products and real estate industries.
Christian is recognized nationally as a thought leader in tax practices, authoring white papers, case studies, and research articles for leading industry journals.
Frank Udiskey
Frank Udiskey recently retired from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) after 34 years of dedicated service. For the past 15 years, he served as Statistical Sampling Coordinator, responsible for reviewing taxpayer samples to ensure compliance with Revenue Procedure 11-42. In this role, he focused on Research and Development (R&D) credits and asset-related sampling issues, including Cost Segregation, Capital vs. Repair studies, Qualified Improvement Property (QIP), and Bonus Depreciation analyses.
Frank advised examination teams nationwide on the design and implementation of statistically valid samples as part of the audit process and trained agents within the Large Business & International (LB&I) Division on sampling techniques.
Before specializing in statistical sampling, Frank worked as both a Revenue Agent and a Computer Audit Specialist. Earlier in his career, he gained experience in public accounting, served as an internal auditor for a large international advertising firm, and worked as controller for a mid-sized marketing company.
He holds a
Bachelor of Science in Accounting from
Central Connecticut State University and is a
non-practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of
Connecticut. Outside of his professional life,
Frank is an
avid runner who has competed in
11 marathons.

James Peacock
James Peacock is a former IRS Engineer Specialist with over 38 years in the Large Business & International (LB&I) Division, specializing in cost segregation, cost recovery, and Section 179D. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) since 2012, he contributed to key IRS guidance, including the Cost Segregation Audit Techniques Guide, Section 179D Practice Unit, as well as the Form 7205 and its accompanying instructions.
Throughout his tenure, James trained IRS examiners nationwide on cost segregation, depreciation, bonus depreciation, and energy-efficient building deductions, shaping best practices and standards across the agency.
