ASCSP Testing Committee: Purpose & Responsibilities
The ASCSP Testing Committee plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and ongoing relevance of the Society’s certification program. Participation on this committee is limited to Certified Cost Segregation Professionals (CCSPs) to ensure that all oversight and decision-making reflects a high level of technical expertise and industry experience.
Reviewing and overseeing exam applications
Maintaining and updating the ASCSP study guide
Evaluating and revising exam content to reflect current tax law and regulatory changes
Managing the relationship with the third-party exam platform provider
Overseeing the grading and administration of examinations
Committee members meet on a monthly basis and should expect to dedicate an additional 2–3 hours per month to support ongoing responsibilities, including content review, updates, grading, and administrative oversight.
Participation in the Testing Committee provides an opportunity to contribute directly to the quality and credibility of the ASCSP certification while collaborating with other experienced professionals committed to advancing industry standards.
